Survivance is an album that grapples with the realities of being young and black in America. Standing between the dimensions of poverty and privilege, Dre Dupre challenges a society eager to label he and his peers by tackling topics such as police brutality, cultural appropriation, and the need to find peace in oneself to survive and resist against a world set against you. Each track was entirely composed, written, performed, and engineered by Dre Dupre in his college dorm room.
